Greetings to all DFW-based Flight Crews!

Hello DFW Pilots!

I hope everyone had a great February! Our hub certainly did, and I thank each and every one of you for that. DFW placed 3rd in the Battle of the Hubs with 43 active pilots, 901 hours, and 303 flights - quite an improvement for us, and I'm very proud! I've got a challenge for everyone here... Let's try for 1000 hours in March! It won't be easy, but let's get it done.

The featured destination this month is Dublin Intl Airport in Ireland (EIDW), and we also have a CAT-Free event going in there - KBOS departure at 1500z, arrival around 2200z. This would be a great event for us to get a ton of hours for the hub! Sign up required.

We are also in the process of updating the flightlines found on the DFW hub website. I strongly suggest taking a look at these. A lot of work goes into making them, and we're the only hub that has 'em - so use 'em!

Remember, if you won't be able to fly your 2 flights for the month, please submit a Leave of Absence (found in the Pilot HR Forms on the main AvA page).

Also, a little side note: I know it's not required, but I'd like to see every DFW Pilot on the AvA forum (http://forum.joinava.org). It's a great community builder, and there is also a wealth of information available for everyone - whether it be technical info, aviation related, etc... So if you haven't already, register on the forum and post post post!!!
